Yaya Dub - The Modern Day Mr. Bean

Yaya Dub is so popular right now, it can be seen with the number of facebook pages, twitter, blogs and news websites that features her story.



Yaya Dub's future will surely soar high but she needs consistency to attain that. As I can see, she has the quality of being a star. It's too early to say this but she got what it takes to be at the top.

She's like Mr. Bean, She's actually the modern day Mr. Bean for me. She's so mysterious that you can only hear her voice on her past youtube videos. This mysterious persona should remain because it is unique. No other pinoy comedians does something like that now, the last one I think is the Legend "Dolphy".

Good job for Eat Bulaga for it's creativity, I'm sure in less than a week -- other networks will copy Yaya Dub's Mr. Bean Style.

Showtime's "Vice Dub" Coming Soon!

There are rumors that Showtime is cooking up a new portion on their show which will showcase "Vice Dub" . Showtime's version of Yaya Dub.



This is going to be very exciting as Vice Ganda will surely bring laughter once again for their "Madlang Pipol" crowd.

With the recent popularity of Yaya Dub, Showtime must do something to counter it as ALDUBs supporters are growing everyday. More and more noontime crowd are following Yaya Dub and the love team ALDUB.

This is like Eat Bulaga vs. Showtime as the two programs were competing very closely to each other.



Eat Bulaga is in the history books already while Showtime has been very influential in social media. Both have ups and downs but one remains consistently on the top.

Eat Bulaga has Tito, Vic and Joey while Showtime has Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro and Anne Curtis.

Showtime for me has more social media following compare to Eat Bulaga but Eat Bulaga still has the power of the masses as they do the neighborhood thing those people with limited access to social media like facebook and twitter.

Those people who only have access to television that's the market of Eat Bulaga. But now it's totally different with the addition of a new talent like Yaya Dub. Yaya Dub started her showbiz career by using social media. Her Dubsmash video gained popularity and become a hit in social media gathering million views in just 1 day.


Now Eat Bulaga took advantage of her social media popularity and embraced her to become a part of the noontime show. And this where the story starts as she also gained popularity now she has 2 market -- The Masses + Social Media.

For several weeks now Fans of the show Eat Bulaga have been consistently following the tandem of Alden Richards and "Yaya Dub," also known as Team AlDub or AlDub.



They have their own hashtags as #AlDub and #KiligPaMore. The ratings of Eat Bulaga is consistently gaining more as Showtime is beginning to get worried. There are rumors that ALDUB's Popularity Is Now A Threat For Showtime. Well let's just wait and see.

Byt the way, Did you know that Yaya Dub's real name is Maine Mendoza, she plays the character Yaya Dub, and became an online sensation when she posted her Dubsmash videos on Instagram. Some her videos have more than 100,000 likes. Her first Dubsmash video, uploaded last April 22, already got one million likes in 24 hours.

Maine is just 20 years old and is residing in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. She finished her high school at St. Paul College and she took up Culinary Arts at La Salle College–St. Benilde.
